Jean Jullien

Jean Jullien is a designer living and working in London. He graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2008 and is now studying at the Royal College of Art alongside his professional activities. His clients include Manystuff, Abana, Kromland Farm, Cyber Cafe, Threadless, Last.fm, Anorak, The Big Chill, Walrus, No Equal, Kitsune Noir, Milk, Cliche London, Action Aid, Niwouinwouin, Fantastique, Science Council. His work is extremely colorful, heavy with line and never seems to take itself very seriously. One of my favorite things about his work is the use of cut-paper and 3D sculpture-like environments, many times including his own body (hands, arms, torso) supporting the work as it is being photographed. The cartroon-like quality of his characters, as well as the use of animals as well as people is another thing i have found very enjoyable while looking at his work.
