Born in Helsinki, Finland in the late 70s, Posti spent his boyhood drawing pictures, rather than playing with his friends. These days his freelance work, as well as the variety of his subject matter seems to indicate that this time spent drawing, not playing, has served him well. His work is of a playful nature, and his ink-like lines are energetic and youthful, often contouring and defining elements that are then fleshed-out with bold and vibrant plains of color. His subject matter also ranges from child-like, fantastic situations, to mutant-like creatures, to the slightly erotic. Posti works in both traditional materials, and computer format, and is often combining the two.
